Hi everyone, this is Ofer Langer from The Positive Thinking Center, and today I’m going to talk to you about why you should practice meditation and to do so I would share why I practice meditation for the past 3 years now

The first reason would be investing in quality time. Think about how much time you spend helping others. Investing time in your work, you invest time in your project – whatever projects you’re involved in, investing time in friends and maintaining relationships with colleagues at work and friends, investing in your elder – being with your family and your grandmother and or grandfather. And this is basically the time when you say: “You know what? This is the time that I like to invest in the inner aspects of my soul.

The second reason for practicing meditation is detachment. And when I talk about detachment, I’m talking about detaching yourself from the day to day crises. Detaching yourself from repetitive thoughts – and by the way, I have a great video on how to deal with repetitive thoughts

When you practice meditation it’s like you’re in the “here and now” but you’re detaching yourself and viewing everything from a bird’s-eye view. So when you’re practicing meditation it’s like you’re viewing your life from a different perspective, you’re basically connecting to the more sub-conscience aspects of your personality.

The third reason why practice meditation is because of a more physical aspect – the relaxation. And when I say relaxation I’m talking about relieving the tension in your muscle, being more calm, being more present, being more in the “here and now”, and just letting go of all the things that make your muscle tense. Just releasing everything that puts pressure in your life and this helps to be more relaxed and more in the “here and now”.

So thank you very much for joining me for another session of positivity. In these kinds of videos, I’m trying to provide you some good techniques and tactics for living a better life and a more positive way of looking at things. Please feel free to share your comments and feedback below. Thank you so much and have a great and positive day!
